Q. What information do you need to setup my GolfSites Platform website?
When you subscribe to a GolfSites Platform plan, you will be returned to the site to complete your profile. This information is then displayed on the website, we will ask you for some welcome text to go on the homepage, text for the about page and ask you to choose your colour scheme, provide your email address to link to the contact form, your 'Screen Name' this forms part of your web address and the email address linked to your PayPal account, if you choose to take online payments. You will also be asked to upload your photo to be used on the site.
Q. I have a website can the booking system be installed on my site?
Yes you just need to select one of our 'Own Website Installation' plans and we will send you the embed code for your website. You just ask your web developer to place the code on your site where you wish the front end of the booking system to be displayed.
Q. How do I pay for my subscription?
When you select a subscription plan from the Pricing Plans page you will be directed to our GoCardless account. Here you just need to follow the instructions and enter your bank details. Don't worry you can cancel anytime there is no minimum term contract.
Q. Are there any tutorials?
Yes we have a library of video tutorials to assist you, also instructions are available from within the booking system to help guide you. The booking and payment system has been built to be very user friendly and you will find it very easy to use.
Q. Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
You can cancel your subscription at anytime, just drop us an email there is absolutely no contract. If you cancel part way through the month, you can continue to use the service until the end of that corresponding month.
Q. Can I try the booking system before I subscribe?
Yes we have included a demo site for this very purpose. All you need to do is sign up for a guest account on the Login Page You will be sent an automated email to confirm your address and once you have clicked on the email confirmation link you will be able login to the site. To access the demo site follow the links on the 'Overview' page. You will be able to try out both the front end of the site, make booking and also access the admin area.
Q. How do I get paid from my clients?
The site uses PayPal by default, you just need to have a business PayPal account setup. When you subscribe to a plan you will be returned to the site to complete your profile, here you will be asked to enter the email address associated with your PayPal account. We do not require any further information for this.
Q. Can I have a different looking GolfSites website?
Sure, we can build a custom website to your specifications, just contact us with your requirments and we will provide you with a detailed proposal.

You can use our ticketing system which ensures that your query is dealt with ASAP.
Q. How secure is my GolfSites website?
We use a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client—typically a web server (website) and a browser which secures millions of peoples’ data on the Internet every day, especially during online transactions or when transmitting confidential information.
Q. Can I use another Payment Gateway?
We use PayPal because it is a well respected payment gateway and your clients do not need a PayPal account to purchase your services as they can also pay by card through PayPal guest checkout. However, adding additional payment gateways is a paid service we can provide, just contact us with details of your preferred payment gateway and we will get back to you with a price.
Q. Can I just use the booking system without asking for payment?
Yes no problem, in fact if you try the demo on this website the payment system has been deactivated and this is exactly how it would work for you without taking payments just bookings.
